view of Vulcan at the fair. Notice his arm was put on backwards and
is minus the spear he held in St. Louis. About 1936, he was carried to Red
Mountain and lay in pieces until placed on his tower. It's evident in
this view that a statue of Vulcan's size was meant to be viewed from a distance.
