Vulcan' 1971 remodeling shown in a chrome post card pulished by Scenic South. The photo shows the original tower exposed with a seperate elevator shaft connecting to the open platform. Vulcan was originally without elevator. One had to walk up stairs in the interior. When placed back on the tower in 2004, Vulcan was rotated about 15 degrees. March 2005 photo by Warren Reed
