The days surrounding April 19th, 1912, saw a major airshow at the Fair Grounds. Eugene Heath was one of the pilots. One of his apparent specialties was breaking passenger carrying records. Birmingham photographer O.V. Hunt must have been one of "several passengers being prepared for" by the evening edition of the April 19th. Birmingham News. The diagonal line was part of the bracing of a Wright Biplane. I'm guessing the placemnet of Birminghans" heaviest corner" in the image was both luck and skill on the part of Hunt. It's very likely that this was Birmingham's first aerial view card. No publisher stated on the back of the card. Source: Birmingham News editions of Aprile 17th-23rd, 1912,
