The only caption material on this card is "Birmingham, Ala". It does appear to be a school group somewhere in Jefferson County. It's a pre 1907 card, publisher not stated. It would not have been unusual for the buildings to have been put to use as a school in that time period. I also wonder if it culd have been a community photo. the print process was so poor that relatively ages of the older persons can't be discerned.
