School is the oldest and still operating school in 2001, in the Birmingham area at 6th Avenue & 24th Street
North. A public school has existed on
this site since 1874. It was originally known as the "Free School".
This building was erected in 1888.
The card is a pre 1907 view published by International Postcard Company and printed in Germany. The white space at the right was for writing messages since the back could only be used for an address. |
