Ramsay High School likely appeared on more postcards than any other Birmingham school because of its foreground prominence in this view from Red Mountain.  Ramsay was named for Erskine Ramsay, a former president of the Birmingham Board of Education and local philanthropist.   Card printed in 1936 by Curteich.
