Birmingham High School was at Seventh and 24th Streets North. It was demolished to make way for Phillips High School circa 1922. Do you notice many old cards that show streetcar tracks are missing the overhead wires. You can notice faint lines on the building where all evidence of overhead wire wasn't removed.
