Municipal Auditorium was built in 1923. At the time of its construction it was touted as haveing, at 10.000, the largest seating capacity of any in the south. It is still in use in 2006 but its future is cloudy.  This card was printed by Tichnor and was mailed in 1944.

The photo shows an extended lobby added and the original brick painted.
