Fulton Springs Tourist Camp, circa 1930. Caption reads "23 modern heated cottages with private baths, 7 miles North of Birmingham, Ala., on U.S. Highway 31." Individual units were typical of early motels in an effort to capture a feel of home for the early motor traveling public.
I just had to show a close up of the restaurant from this real photo card. Notice the Buffalo Rock ginger Ale sign.
