An older hotel, The New Florence, corner of 19th and 2nd. Avenue North. Was also home of New Florence Cafe, pictured in the restaurant section. For a short time this hotel was "The" hotel in Birmingham. This was at the corner of 19th and 2nd Avenue.  Loveman's is to the right.  2002 saw this block occupied by McWane Center.
