The Thomas Jefferson was the closest major hotel to the Louisvile & Nashville Railroad Station at 2nd Avenue and 17th Street.  In later years it became the Cabana and in 2002 sat vacant.   The linen texture card on the left was printed by Curt Teich in 1935.

The 1950's - early 60's card on the right is a Curteichcolor card printed by Curteich, published by the Albert Advertising Agency, Dallas, Texas.

A January, 2003 view shows the back side of the TJ.  The Thomas Jefferson sign is faded but still legible.
