Work on the two 18 hole courses appears to be nearly finished in this 1906 view of Birmingham Country Club in its new location at Lakeview.  BCC moved from North Nirmingham where it was establised in 1898.  Birmingham started operating this as a municipal golf facility when BCC moved to Shades Valley in 1927.  The building was destroyed by fire about1972.
