Highlands United Methodist Church, at Five Points South, was built in the Spanish Renaissance Revival style. It was completed in 1909. Design was by Thornton Mayre, who worked on Birmingham's Terminal Station. The tower is incomplete in the postcard view. Funds allowed the completion of the bell tower in 1921.
